The grip fit without modification, and feels decent in the hand, not as good as a normal pistol grip, but certain states don't want your rifle to be ergonomic. Some feedback: Drop the paw print logo. It'd be fine on an airsoft product, but on my featureless rifle that's intended to be a general use tool, it's just tacky. Also, I would add a curve to the top of the grip, as it is currently, I think I can get the web of my hand below the action of the trigger. It's not going to work with a traditional A2 style fixed stock either way (I tried on my 20" "retro" mag locked build), but it needs to be a little more flat-lined from the attachment point. However, at a glance it looks like it fits a similar profile to the Juggernaut Tactical featureless grip, which is still on shelves, so it should pass range check. Also, see about getting it injection molded, there's a massive market for this form factor in CA, and probably NY, but I don't really want my grip to be made of aluminum on a hot day or a really cold day.
